Reclaim Outlook.com mailbox space by archiving older mail to storage you control—then clean up only after the copy is verified.
Personal tool · Active
Connect Microsoft, point at your own cloud storage, define age and folder rules, and let a background worker export full .eml copies on a schedule—or run a job by hand when you need it.
Sign in with Outlook.com via Microsoft OAuth and Microsoft Graph. Mail read and cleanup use the account you connect—no mailbox password stored in the app.
Archives land in storage you bring: S3-compatible buckets, Google Drive, or OneDrive. Prefer one provider and keep full MIME .eml files organized by folder, year, and month.
Choose age thresholds, folders, max messages per run, and schedule (manual, daily, or weekly). Set rules once and let jobs reclaim space over time.
Archive only, archive then move within Outlook, or archive then send to Deleted Items—always after the upload is verified. Nothing is removed until the copy is confirmed.
A worker processes archive runs from a job queue so long mailboxes can be handled in batches without sitting at the screen for every message.
A separate flow targets the Junk folder with pattern-based rules—no archiving step—so suspected spam can be cleared on its own schedule.
Rules pick messages by age and folder, respecting a per-run limit so large inboxes are drained gradually.
Each message is downloaded as full MIME, uploaded to your storage, and verified before any Outlook change.
Depending on safety mode, the mailbox copy is left alone, moved, or sent to Deleted Items after a successful archive.
Mailarchive is a personal productivity tool from SJW Software LLC—not a hosted email service, backup product, or commercial SaaS offering. You keep ownership of the mailbox and the archive destination.
Always confirm archives before emptying Deleted Items. Restore-to-Outlook and third-party email providers are outside the current scope.
